So now with the umpteenth article on the net about scooters being really popular with the soaring price of gas, Piaggo, the makers of the original Vespa, have introduced the mp3. Not an audio player but a 3-wheeled scooter. I guess its easier to ride and you're not guaranteed to lose all of your limbs if you happen to hit a pothole or hit by careless drivers yapping on their cellphones (even though its supposedly illegal in DC unless you're using a handsfree earpiece). I know this because I've almost been hit twice on our Vespa ET4.
