I'm coming to grips with the fact that I can't be the kid that I continually was for the last 30 years. Now I'm trying to live a fuller life knowing that you truly can't look back, but only forward. Or something like that.

Every week, I'll get a handful of visits from what I can only assume as lonely dudes that think they have a snowball's chance in dating WJLA's hottie Allison Starling. How would I know this? They're coming from google with the search term "is alison starling married?" or "alison starling married." All because I mentioned her a few times in my blog. First thing's first. She's not married. Or at least I don't think she is, from seeing her ring-less left hand ring finger during a broadcast. Second, why would any of these guys think they have a chance in picking her up? Are you going to casually wait outside the WJLA parking lot and accidently run into her (because that's not creepy.)
I think Alison is slowly but surely beating out Krystal Koons as the most googled visit to my blog.

What's wrong with you people? Alison Starling is not married and never will be! I know she gets a lot of votes for being so good looking and sexy or whatever BUT... she really isn't a very nice person! I ran into her in Old Town Alexandria this weekend where she lives and she acted like she was better than other people. She ignored me and was extremely rude when I just tried to say hello so I really don't care how good looking she is (which she really isn't, I mean have you seen her nose? People could get our of the rain under that nose... and she has freckles across her nose too - UGH!). Alison is a tease too. When the Gators were playing for the National Title she was all ready to email back and forth - on her terms - but when it comes to any other time she just ignores people and doesn't write back. I think Alison Starling is rude and stuck up and certainly not worthy of any of these "best looking" titles everyone votes on. Beauty is not only skin deep - it should come from within and there is nothing inside Alison Starling except Alison Starling!
Come on. Most people aren't Googling info on her because they can't wait to start writing love letters to her if she's single... that kind of thinking comes straight out of middle school -- or the mental institution. Maybe people are just bored and curious and want to know a little bit of trivia. She's a pretty face on the news and it would be neat to know something about her while you're sitting at your desk with nothing else to do. I don't know if I'd say she's a nice person or not, she probably behaves the way most celebrities behave. Yes, it comes across rude to bystanders. What I don't like is her politics. Like everyone else on that socialist news network she's an ultra left-wing radical liberal with feminist leanings. They drool over Obama like he's God's gift to the world when he's probably the worst president we've ever had... but I digress. Like BAB said, beauty comes from within, and so does compatibility. Even if I did have a snowball's chance with her we probably wouldn't last an hour together.
